Second Sundays: June 2026

Since 2013, Pioneer Works has hosted Second Sundays, a free monthly open house. Highlighting our programs, artists-in-residence, and Red Hook community members, Second Sundays features open studios, exhibitions, workshops, live music, and food—with programming across all three floors and in our garden.

At June Second Sundays, we host the second annual Mini Ball, organized by curator The Icon Hall Of Famer Michael Roberson Maison-Margiela as a celebratory kickoff to NYC Pride. Featuring a live DJ set by The International Byrell The Great and commentating by The Icon Hall of Fame Jack Gorgeous Gucci and The Up and Coming Legendary Precious, the Mini Ball Mini Ball will be separated into eight categories and judged by a panel yet to be announced.

Food and drink are provided by Mijo, La New Yorkina, High Beam Coffee, and Pioneer Works Bar. Read on below to see the full schedule of events.

The Mini Ball is made possible with support from Abounding Prosperity Inc, Destination Tomorrow, The Arbert Santana Ballroom Freedom School Project, The David Prize, and NYC Black Pride.
